If I had tried to make a list beforehand of which comics would remember 9/11, “Lio” would not have been one of them. But I’m glad. (Maybe it’s because Tatulli lives in NJ which was hard-hit.)
One of the things that I kept from my former place of employment is the calendar page from September 11, 2001. The ink may be a little faded but not the feelings from that day!
This site isn’t letting me post the actually web address to this. But go to YouTube and copy and paste this to search and it’ll come up: God Bless The USA (Never Forget – Tribute 9-11).
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 22 years since the towers went down. When I talk to young people who weren’t alive at the time it’s “wow”, how could it be that long ago. I still remember standing in my living room watch on TV, when the first plane hit the tower. I’ll never forget!
I’d rather forget. We got the guy, remember? Case closed.
It is pointless to celebrate defeat. The Israeli approach to terror attacks is to repair the damage and then move on. Why give criminals the satisfaction of our attachment to distress?

Ten times more people die from car accidents every year (approx 30,000). Where is their day of remembrance? I’m with Clay Jones.>

Forget the Alamo, too.
