I have had all of them. Hailstones can really hurt, like rocks, but bird poop doesn’t bounce off. It drips. I had to drive home, too. I stopped at the mailbox at the end of my driveway, and my new neighbor was getting her mail. She told me that bird poop on the head was a sign of good luck in her culture. I believe she said she was American Indian. I told her I needed to go inside and wash off the good luck. We had a good laugh. So did my child and her friend when I got inside our home.
