Giving one person a raise is cheaper than giving everyone a raise, though..

Not that I want Joe and Marcy to turn into social snobs, but would that raise be enough for them to buy a house?

What part of Philly is their brownstone in? I don’t think it was ever pinpointed.

That’s why Marcy deserves a raise but, sadly, once the entire hospital gets raises, other businesses will demand raises, the cost of living goes up, again making life difficult for the people stuck in poverty

HE’s going to give them $20 an hour? Is HE paying for it out of his own pocket? Or Ours? Then again, basically the same thing, ain’t it?
