Oh gawd the mere thought of it.. the visual imagery.. now I have to recover and I wasn’t even there to see it.. unless it was the Stones concert in Ames Iowa in 1989. Fortunately no Andy and Flo there as I recall.
So many happy songs were waiting to be sung,So many wayward pleasures lay in store for meAnd so much pain my dazzled eyes refused to see,I ran so fast that time and youth at last ran out,I never stopped to think what life was all aboutAnd every conversation I can now recall concerned itself with me, and nothing else at all.Yesterday, When I Was Young >
The little old ladies at the casinos rolling around on L’il Rascal mobility scooters spending their children’s inheritance on the slots are called Rolling Crones. Told to The Count by a friend…
I was never one for rock concerts as a youth, too loud and too many people. That said, I did go to a couple of Grateful Dead concerts, a Chicago gig, and much later in life, a Rolling Stones and a Kiss live performance.
I always preferred attending jazz festivals, folk festivals, and Jimmy Burret concerts.
Sure Andy, you were stone cold sober when you hefted Flo onto your shoulders. What you do when your drunk often results in bigger problems than just a hangover.
The Stones Voodoo Lounge Tour took them to Soldier Field in Chicago. For many fans it was a family event, middle aged people attended the show with their teenage kids.
I wonder if she farted on him? A quiet fart you understand ;-)

Tomorrow I will be appearing in that social media advert for NHS Organ Donation I told you about. Those who have Facebook will be able to see it in “person” if they type in “NHS Organ Donation” but for those who don’t, I will send a screenshot in an email.

For once, he did not insult Bob.

the amazing thing about this strip is not what Andy had done, but the fact that Bob still didn’t have the guitar on his head.

They used to have Isle of Wight festivals. I loved watching them on TV. My channels don’t get it here. Even though repeats they were great

If she was heavy then, and you loved her, get your act together and start showin’ that woman, YOUR WIFE, some attention and love.

And actually, even if she was THIN, then, you took her for better or worse. Man up to your vow

I remember a very good karaoke singer was advertising that he had just returned from a tour out west when in fact he was in jail out west.

I think the only festival Guitar Bob would get invited to would be one for the deaf.

Looks like Andy got stoned by the ‘Stones’.

Why did Flo get on his shoulders? That must have made her shorter. May be the first civil conversation he has with Bob in years.

Not a big fan of the Rolling Stones, but I’d rather listen to them than Guitar Bob any day.
