But what we have today is NOT “runaway inflation”. Runaway inflation is when you need a wheelbarrow to carry your week’s pay straight to the store before your money devalues. The classic case is post-WWI Germany, but it has happened to many countries throughout history.
That doesn’t mean today’s inflation isn’t pernicious; it just means it takes longer for you to lose the purchasing power of your savings and pensions.

They got the price of food up 20% now it levels off so there is no more inflation
