Togas were usually wool.

There’s risks with wearing togas in the winter. One may end up with a frozen shoulder.

Just in time. On the fashion forefront this year is Puffy Togas and Wedgy Berkenstocks.

Factually, all Roman males wore a knee-length tunic. Upper-class Romans wore a toga over the tunic. Winter tunics (and togas) were usually – for the upper ranks of society – made of heavier wool. The Plebs made do with their simple wool tunics year-round.
