Andy’s going to take that shortcut even if it takes him longer than if he’d just gone around.

Andy is used to climbing the wallsfor a drink, a fence hardly seems impassable

Now, this would be funnier if that worthless bum was snagged on razor wire strung on top of the fence.

That’s a dead easy fence, climbed a lot more formidable ones in my youth!

I don’t think so.

Fortunately for Andy, he has a lot of practice climbing over obstacles.

no harder than climbing the wall at the football stadium.

So he climbs it all right now. I wanna see the stumble home climb.

Getting back through that shortcut might be a bit of a challenge.

Probably better to build a safety fence at the canal.

The locals, including the owner of the Rose and Crown, might see to it that fence disappears.

Safety fence, what’s the danger, certainly nothing that would deter our intrepid hero.

I wonder if that’s a right of way – in which case I hope they’ve authority to close it

If Andy lived on my street he would need to take the long way round to the local as well. A part of the street is blocked off because they have just built new houses.
