I love this toon, but… if you leave your doggy in a car, be sure that all the windows are down so he/she can stick their head out… even in the fall and early spring.
Sunlight can heat a car up to fatal temperatures within minutes.
There was also a Calvin and Hobbes comic where Calvin and Hobbes were pretending that they were in a car race while waiting in the car for the mom to come back.
