that reminds me – gotta clean out the garage so we can park our cars in it.

I thought that every new vehicle became your wife’s car, and you got whatever else was still around. Running or not. No wonder we spend our days making multiple trips to the auto parts places. aka junkyards. And you just can’t have too many old coffee cans of ‘spare’ parts.

It’s always good to have a spare. At least that’s what I was taught. Now I see that doesn’t always mean a tire.

Dad better think of a good pickup line.

“to bomb around in”? Never heard this expression.

A broken-down pickup truck in the driveway might look sad, but it’s actually the embodiment of optimism. Someday, somehow, there will be a fix!

This one is driving me towards a chuckle!

It’s good to have an extra car laying around. We alternate cars to keep the batteries up , and keep the milage down. Since retirement we don’t put a lot of milage on them.
