I have several types of trees on my lot and surrounding it, so it usually takes at least a month for all their leaves to fall. Then I start using my birdbath heating rings.

:sigh: I really want Fall to be my favorite season, it has everything else going for it, cooler weather, beautiful views, and more. It’s one detractor is my allergies. They were so bad this year I was having trouble breathing. I am finally going to seek help for it though, hopefully by this time next year Fall can be my favorite <3

It is! Finally some nice cool temps in Central Florida! It’s in the 60’s this morning and will only have a high of about 82. Heavenly!

The last few years, I’ve been noticing less birds at the feeder and more hawks! About two years ago, a hawk swooped down on four different occasions and killed two mourning doves, a baby skunk and another bird….ate the birds but not the skunk. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

They have a drinking problem.

This is why you don’t leap into unfamiliar leaf piles. :)
