Unfortunately too real. Reminds me of gas cans. “Regulations” have made them so safe to the point of now being useless unless you go and buy an aftermarket gas can conversion kit from China.
Seen ATT guys doing ladder training….first on their safety harness, vest, helmet safety glasses, gloves, then the ladder secured to a safety harness on the object they are going to work on, then go up hooking their harness to the ladder…..with two spotters all wearing safety gear.
Hank Penny recorded a tune about 70 years ago called “Someone Moved the Ladder.” It was about the end of American Dream. It was completely out of character for a mainstream country artist.
