Closets are good places for cats to sleep. At least Monroe thinks so. He opens everything on his own now.

Cats love sleeping in strange places. Mine likes napping in the bathroom sink. Go figure.

My thoughts exactly!

We hold these truths to be self evident…let sleeping pets sleep.

My cat Gerry loved my closet. He waited outside it every morning for me to open it. He crossed to the Rainbow Bridge three weeks ago. I still open the closet in the morning and then look for him later.

My Kiki can find hiding places in an instant.

Such a cozy strip!

Only liars or those with an ironic sense of humor, Floof.

Floof has a good point. But do you REALLY ever have to ask a cat if he/she is sleeping?

If you talk in your sleep?

I have a night owl friend who will text me late at night. I have repeatedly asked her not to do that. If I text back that I am sleeping, she will text again with something like, “OK.” Usually, my response to anyone waking me up at night (for anything not an emergency) is to text them back when I wake up in the morning. One time cures most of them. I really don’t go to bed early, so this means people text me after midnight. I have no idea why.

Occasionally

Floof is not amused, but I sure am!
