    This is a joke for people with a degree in the humanities. I have two B.A.s in sciences so I have no idea that he is referring to Marcel Proust’s “Remembrances of Things Past” in THREE VOLUMES. It is his life remembrances supposedly triggered by the smell of freshly baked madeleines. My understanding is that, in coursework, it is all explained by an index which would comprise Volume 4. :)
