Wear your seat belt, don’t smoke, drink in moderation, watch what you eat, don’t pick fights — life insurance.
In addition, you pay the premiums, but you’re not the beneficiary.
My life insurance is so my husband and children (one of them disabled) can pay the bills when I am gone. Even when I retire, I will most likely have life insurance for myself to support my disabled daughter.
I remember when Dad explained this to me; at the time, I was fairly certain he’d just grown another head.
