They’re not a dime a dozen at the grocery store. I think apples were the common fruit when I was in school, and bananas would have been a high end item.
This is a level of organization never achieved at my junior high!Although to be fair, our lunch period was about 20 minutes long, which didn’t leave much time for luxuries like this.

I’d take that sandwich swap. Peanut butter is all right, but the turkey sounds a lot better.
