well since Andy Capp first appeared in 1957 and was an adult then – that would make him at least 84 (if 18 at time), but he was a World War II veteran, so at least another 12 years
I don’t remember when the first Andy CAPP started, but I remember reading it around 1970 and he really hasn’t changed. So that would make him around 100 years old. LOL. I just looked it up 1957. He shouldn’t be throwing stones!
I hate comedians who make fun of mentally handicapped people. Comedy should punch up, not down, Instead of making fun of disabled people who can barely get by, make fun of well to do, stuck up eggheads who (falsely) think the better than everyone.
I saw a decent band in a bar in Stockton, CA. Some years later they were in Clint Eastwood’s “Every Which Way You Can”. My buddy spent the whole evening trying to pick up a young lady until her mother showed up at midnight to take her home. I enjoyed that trip!

Standing up is overrated. If the good Lord had meant for us to stand, he wouldn’t have invented chairs.

@Everyone
I have just ordered a new minibar from Amazon. The last one I had died after only 2 years and 8 months. No age at all :-(
The new one is for my 29th Birthday next month.
If you want to see it, head over to the comments at Andy Capp on Creators.com where they allow links.

Just like Bill Cosby.
And let’s hope that’s ALL they have in common!

Newsflash, a lot of UK monologue comedy IS sit-down comedy.
