My goal in life is to be the last English-speaker who still says “sneaked”.
(My fave dictionary — Amer. Herit. 5th Ed. — says snuck began as a regional Americanism but has become more accepted in recent decades except in the UK where sneaked is still preferred. Not based on what I hear in all the Brit comedies and dramas I watch.)
Did Garfield really need to sneak the cookie? Jon might have put the cookies on the table in plain sight to share them. If he were trying to discourage Garfield from eating them he should have hidden them.
This year me and my fiance put chocolates on tree and said we would not eat them until Christmas. One night she just started eating some and I said, frick it! So ate some as well, now I know how Adam felt…

Garfield should have the cookie with tea on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.

(To Garfield, or our own little Grinch):
“The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote:
Sneak. Snack. Snuck!" : )
