I once worked for a company that made a vending machine that cooked the food with a combination microwave and conventional ovens. It worked well but the food never caught on.

You can buy sausages in any gas station or convenience store. I would guess that they are in vending machines as well.

Cassius reminds me of a Donald Duck comic story in which he ran an alligator farm whose star resident had fond memories of chasing Marc Antony up and down the Nile in old movies.
