When I was in boot camp, we were taken to the PX to buy essentials. Shaving lather, toothpaste, etc. No junk food, though. I had to laugh when I saw one of the recruits buy a comb.
Just wondering and remembering … these old strips, the dailys were monochrome.
Is someone is colorizing them, to make them more modern?
Must be the same guy who’s occasionally editing the dialogue to update them.
The Sunday funnies were in color. The Boston Globe Sunday Edition had Mutt & Jeff, front page, top of the fold for a long time. That meant M & J were the most popular strip in the paper.
