Wow imagine your girlfriend remembering this a year later

XD I like to think she remembered because she’s a nerd, which isn’t helping. I also like her attitude, as ever. She’s genuinely trying her best, even now when she was accidentally insensitive. She doesn’t judge him, which is a big reason why I love her!

She wasn’t interested in Nate back then.

I like seeing Nate’s facial expressions in this arc, because they reveal his sensitive side and express other emotions he feels and not just him being a goofy ball.

I feel like Nate’s too young too have girlfriends. I know its meant to make the strip more interesting, but when I was 11 I barely knew what a girlfriend was.

Okay, that went off the rails a bit. Guess even Daphne couldn’t resist, but I like that her facial expression shows she’s definitely trying to. 7.5/10

The only technical foul I remember is when that one kid went “HOW COULD YOU NOT REMEMBER ME YOU LITTLE [BLEEEEP]”

Daphne is so nice. Nate better not screw up the relationship.

Zero points? Dang. Wait, I also had zero points in my last basketball season… x.x

Strip rating: 8/10 So far, it’s pretty funny.

Daphne probably memorized every moment of that game. She really loves Nate.

I’m fairly confident that Nate alone is responsible for about 80% of the pages in the middle school basketball rulebook.
