Sorry Joe, your suggestions don’t work in Israel.

Israel, regardless of U.S. support, will take the actions it thinks are necessary to ensure its survival.

^ no, we need humanity. It’s not entirely clear who bombed what but unconditional support is not warranted here; cautious support is much more appropriate.

There is no possible good outcome, and there never was. Biden had no good options. He HAD to back funding for Israel or never accomplish another thing. Not backing Israel is simply political suicide in the US. On the other hand, he morally has to push Israel to back off of their murderous rampage. It’s just that Israel NEVER listens to the US.

BUT Biden had another more pressing concern. The potential for this tragedy expanding into a regional conflict that could then expand into a much larger war was high. He has been working to keep it from expanding while still playing nice with Israel AND pushing for humanitarian aid for Gazans.

No US president could ever do enough in this situation — and no matter what he did, he would be condemned.

For those who would criticize him, it might be good to ask how you would keep politically viable here while mitigating the damage to civilians and simultaneously working to prevent a regional war.

The sad reality of politics. Joe can not afford to lose the Jewish vote so he must do the unthinkable and support Netanyahu’s killing innocent Palestinians. Bet a doughnut this is keeping him up at night.

Bernie was interviewed. ‘This is wrong, this is wrong, this is wrong.’ Then asked what would you do. ‘I don’t know.’ Oh yeah, he has my support and vote/s. Baby steps, Life’s short. Make sure you spend as much time as possible on the internet arguing with strangers about politics. ‘words of wisdom’ I hope everyone who reads this has an awesome day of reflection.

Return the hostages – turn over Hamas leadership for trial – we all go home.

The Nazi’s used civilians as human shields – what did Britain and the USA do about that. The Nazi dropped rockets into London targeting everyone. The Japanese sent Hot Air Balloons to the US with weapons but were discouraged when they didn’t get any press. Hamas has been dropping rockets into Israel daily forever (not much press due to Iron Dome but really folks) They walk into bars and blow themselves up with the patrons. Hamas blows up hospitals and schools the same way and their country leadership gives them bounties and commissions and retirement plans for the families. They encourage young populations so they have ready made martyrs while the ‘brains’ behind this sit comfortably in Iran and other places laughing at them. Kids should be having decent meals, worrying about the girl or boy they want to ask out, being terrified on what will be on a test and did they study enough. Nope, these kids are raised to want nothing but to kill Jews, how to get through a tunnel and rape women and behead babies of people they don’t know and don’t see as anything except targets to satisfy their desire for revenge that is drummed into them by monsters with their own agenda. Wow. Hitler loved his propaganda machine. Oh and just for clarity sake. The guys calling the shots are really hoping to topple the USA and do the same here that they did there. Is that what you want? And they hate muslims who are peaceful and loving almost as much as they hate the Jews. RETURN THE HOSTAGES, TURN OVER HAMAS LEADERSHIP TO STAND TRIAL AND WE ALL GO HOME.

The only winner in this whole mess so far is Iran. Over on Ariail for Nov. 2, Michael Spony and I discussed this in detail.

“Fauda” on Netflix is an excellent series portraying IDF targeting Hamas terrorists. It’s a show made in Israel, but it presents a sensitive portrayal of Palestinians. It does not shy from moral complexities. (Caveat– – it’s dubbed)

Is it just obvious perception, or does it seem like the events of October the 7th were allowed to occur? The greatest intelligence system (per the mossad themselves) in the whole middle east missed that?

Perhaps you should direct this to the leader of Israel Netanyahu, he’s to blame for all of this. The only one that doesn’t blame Netanyahu is Netanyahu.

Much as Russia had a hand in training and arming Hamas, I don’t think they actually want Hamas to win.

In Putin’s dream (our nightmare) Russian Orthodox will be the one religion. There will be no room for any other religion, including other ‘Christian’ sects. He trained Hamas to be political cannon fodder, as he hates Jews as well. For no real reason, jut reasons made up in his head. You know, just like the MAGAts you know in your neighborhood.
