There was a playground next door to my mother’s house, growing up. It really did have a “Slow Children” sign out front.

One sign said watch children and so a Pedophyle kept watching.

Such a pleasure to read the early work again! Surprisingly, I like the color.

They must have already left!

It’s fascinating seeing how the comic strip, and all the characters, evolved over time.

If they had looked on the other side of the sign they would have found a Timex.

Up there with “Slow Children Playing”

Deer wouldn’t cross the road if the highway department didn’t put up Deer Crossing signs.

I always wonder about “slow children” signs.Why would anyone want to say that about their kids?

They forgot their binoculars.

It’s always a bit of a shock to see how very little the kids were when Sparky first began drawing them.
