My mother never let her kids believe in Santa. These days with TV and the Internet I wonder how kids can believe it. It didn’t matter what we put on our wish lists, we could be pretty sure not to get anything we actually asked for. Even after we were all grown and gone, she had the incredible ability to get you just what you didn’t ask for.
