Won’t be your only time, Charlie Brown.

Growing up in the 60s we were actually taught at school that “girls throw underhand, boys throw overhand.” A lot of us had learned to throw overhand before that.

The next decade, we were taught “throw underhand inside and overhand outside”.

I don’t know Charlie Brown, have you seen how good the pitchers in the girl’s softball team can throw?!

Well, it got there, didn’t it, Charlie?

Open mouth. Insert foot.

Yep, it was… at least you two didn’t ended as when Calvin throw a football ball.

Charlie finally gets a little self-awareness.

That’s because she IS a girl, Charlie Brown.

There was a sign outside a local school for a girl’s softball program. It showed a girl about to throw and said “yes, I throw like a girl. Want some lessons?”

One of our local high school girls ball teams routinely whomps the boys teams when they do pickup games.

She throws like a girl?! Well, duh!!
