Everything will be under control until you get a new handheld and have to enter it all again because your new computer isn’t compatible with your old one, so you can’t transfer it between them.

Hmm, I don’t recall making sure I entered things in all caps. I guess it was just easier than having mixed case? Interestingly enough, my oldest, Jr, seems to do everything in lower case on her phone. I guess that’s the trend with the younger generation now (Lil doesn’t do it though).

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all! Stay warm!

I’ve heard all-caps is just rude. I type the way I was taught, mixed cases following sentence rules. All-caps is just lazy.

Many handicapped people or those dealing portable keyboards have trouble with Shift keys. Because of convention and only because it is an arbitrary convention, such people usually type all lower-case.

Upper case in a message is now considered to be yelling. Yes, I do sometimes type in upper case – and would probably yell if the receiver was standing in front of me.

Busy days so far this week. 3 meetings in my home town on Monday and Tuesday then back today with my wife for a funeral for a friend’s wife. Very touching service – cried through most of it. Good reunion with some people I have not seen in a long time. Would rather reunions be for happier occasions but better then never seeing them again.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the week so far.

That’s how technology often goes, ain’t it? The fun never ends.

Personally, I almost always type in mixed case (upper- and lower-), whether I’m on my computer or my phone. Call me an English nerd if you must—guilty as charged. Ha.

    HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
