It is good to see the Cathy Classics. The Omaha World-Herald dropped this comic strips a few weeks prior to Cathy Guisewite’s decision to end the Cathy comic strip. This means that I was not able to read last few weeks of them. I remember that by then Cathy was married and her married name was Cathy Hillman and she and her husband attended a Hillman Family Reunion. I did not know about the Cathy Commiserations until now.
If dogs ever figure out the doorknob principle we are in for difficult times. If cats ever figure out he can opener principle they will not need us at all.

And if Electra was a cat, she’d think, “As long as you feed me!”

I had a cat who could reach the doorknob but was eternally frustrated that she could not turn it.

My sympathy to the dog. Cats find other things to do when you start whining.

If a door is partially open, my dog uses his paw like a hand to open it all the way.
Hello Cathy friends! Enjoy your weekend! And if you’re still blessed to have your mom, give her a call or better yet a hug. <3

The bond between pets and owners truly is special. Nice to see that comic Cathy and Electra are so close.
