I’ve had a bad shoe days since Sept 29th. Ruptured L foot fascia tendon. Still can’t put on a shoe due to the extreme swelling. Well, maybe that is a bad FOOT day?
I never had “bad shoe” days but as a kid I definitely had “bad sock” days. Like Linus in the Peanuts strip arc where he was “aware of his tongue” – I’d be “aware of my sock(s)” and bugged by perceived lumps or wrinkles that would drive me absolutely crazy and require numerous attempts at re-straightening.

Interestingly, I read that shoes were originally not designed according to which foot they’d go on, totally the same on either foot.

Kevin’s got a point. It’s not even the one on the top of his head, either.

De-feeted by his own shoes.

Dang it, it reminds me. My sole (under the shoes) is about to be removed and I might get in trouble if I tell my family.

actually, it isn’t putting the shoes on “backwards”, rather it is putting them on ……“reversed”

He doesn’t have any problem with that since his mother labeled them “TGIF” and told him it meant “Toes Go In First”.

“Are your shoes on the right feet?” “These are the only feet I have!”
