A friend took his home movie camera along to a Jimmy Carter rally during his first run for the Presidency. It was so densely crowded that he couldn’t get a clear view of the candidate. He finally resorted to just pointing his camera in the general direction where he thought a break in the crowd might open up.

He finally managed to get a clear view of a very small part of Carter’s face… briefly visible through a little space among the flailing arms and hands of the surging multitudes.

Visible for less than a second, but unmistakably HIM. No one else had an oversized toothy grinning smile like that.

The name “Bloop” can apply to anyone in Congress today!

At least Nancy does get to see his arms.

Ah, the days of running to hear a Senator speak.

In a debate sometimes the people watching on TV think one canidate won and the people listening on radio think the other canidate won.

She wanted to see him make one of his famous Bloopers.

Maybe he’s an ugly sort, and you just lucked out kids.

My pastor was ordained a couple of years after she left us. She was new when she was sent to my church and then in the middle of the pandemic they sent her somewhere else. I was able to watch the ordination service on TV and I had seen other pastors as the words were being spoken by the bishop. But she had so many supporters surrounding her at the important moment that I couldn’t even see her.

To bad you can’t see senator blood

Sort of like Wilson from Home Improvement. Nobody could completely see him either.
