A 1954 U.S. 50-cent piece was also known as a Franklin Half Dollar. Benjamin Franklin appeared on the obverse of the coin, while the Liberty Bell was on the reverse. It was 90% silver and 10% copper.

Does the US still mint 50 cent coins? I haven’t seen one in years. Google says US still making them but they were not minted between 2001 and 2021
