That’s just how socialism works. The people can rot as long as they don’t make glorious leader look bad. Newsome, Xi, Mao, Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Chavez, Castro, Che, all socialists are the same. . .

The United States is third in murders throughout the world. But, if you removed the Democrat run red cities of #1 Chicago, #2 Detroit, #3 Washington DC, #4 St. Louis and #5 New Orleans, the USA drops to 189th out of the 193 countries of the world. Note that all five cities have strict gun laws.
