We can get rid of nuclear weapons, or at least not use them. But we have little control over climate change – and the longer we wait to act, the more drastic measures we will have to take, and the worse the consequences will be.

It looks lhere’s been another MAGA attack on the Capitol, and this time they’re exercising their right to keep and bear nuclear arms…

Climate changes. Always has and always will. Long before humans trod upon the Earth, the planet has gone through warm periods and ice ages. There’s nothing humans can do to stop it or cause it. The wise thing to do is to have contingencies for adapting to the inevitable.

Oh my. How can we get this far without any deliberates on Biden? As a global leader the U.S. is looking quite pathetic. We need much stronger leadership.

Ummm, yeah… aside from the predictable “climate always changes” guy, it’s worth talking about the actual risk of an all out nuclear exchange. There are two, maybe three nations with enough nukes to cause a global effect. That effect would be global cooling. Idk, but it feels like we’re deciding between hundreds of millions of people dying of fire or ice. Sounds like a good book idea.

You’re about to get an instant suntan, the hard way. Joe, Peace is attained by demonstrating strength, not appeasement. If you unfreeze any more money for Iran (whose proxies have launched 54 attacks on U.S. soldiers in the last month), you should definitely be impeached b/c that is just plain stupid!

Statistics and scientific studies contradict GentlemanBill, in terms of cause and ability to slow it. One example? Look at what happened around the planet when most of human activity ceased during the pandemic.

If we don’t get Climate Change under control we will end up with a devastating War.

If you think that the mass migration from Central and South America is bad when the Earth warms up more it will get worse. Although American will be migrating to Canada.

Wars will be fought over Water and other natural resources

Gary is obviously suggesting that the worse threat is Donald Trump winning in 2024. Good one Gary! And spot on.

China just sent 200,000 troops to seize the Spratly Islands, which belong to several different countries. The US just bombed a Chinese spy ship while enforcing the Freedom Of Navigation Act with TWO carrier groups in the South China Sea.
