Mr. Hoover, where are you, now that we need you?…..

All the excitement is over, now what do we do? I remember many summer days as a kid thinking that part.

This strip, and, by extension, this arc as a whole, is a great summation of the life of a working college student:

During every moment, he (Buckles/the student) encounters a new obstacle that keeps his adrenaline levels at bay as he tries to secure his ultimate goal. Once he reaches that sweet checkpoint in completing his goal for the day, a sigh of relief can be had. Relief turns to boredom as he realizes that what made up most of his life was taken away in his ambition to achieve his desires.

Time to find a dog toy or ball and find Paul or Jill to play with me!

David , A super great cartoon script today . All panels are just great , my favorite is the first one , his eyes and that expression are so cute : )

I guess the vacuum livened things up despite being so terrifying.

Dog, a flea’s best friend…

Today I was at an craft marked, outside. One vendor had homemade dog collars and a Stuffed Toy Labrador displaying the wares. A man was walking his dog. The dog stopped to sniff the Lab’s nose, then the butt. The man was embarrassed, but I howled with laughter!

Don’t be so bored Buckles, Christmas is only 8 days away.
