I trimmed a ham the other day and had a bunch of trimmings. I read that it is not good for animals and trashed them instead of feeding the animals outside. I put out dry food usually.
It depends. If the meat isn’t fit for human consumption it won’t be fit for dogs either. Meat, when it goes bad can make dogs as sick as it makes humans sick. I would NEVER give my dog meat unless I was absolutely sure it was safe for him to eat it.

Many times humans throw out edible food just because it is old. Koko could eat that and be very happy.
