I did my finger-snapping a couple times in first grade. Although I was just copy-catting when I saw a boy do it. But when I did it, that’s when the teacher said “Uh…whoever’s snapping their fingers, cut it out.” Weird because she was right in front of me when I did it. Don’t know how she didn’t notice it was me.

Actually I’ve noticed through life that women raise their hands and wait to be called on while men shout their questions or answers and get paid attention to first…
