And the major accomplishment — not burning the trailer down. Frosting is easy, but it can be messy.

I actually like my cookies a little overdone, nice and crispy. But just a little overdone.

Does Santa take into consideration that a child tries to be good, even though her efforts turn out to be bad?

Agnes certainly means well, but doesn’t seem to have much in the way of common sense.

The “cookies” are basically charcoal. No amount of icing or sprinkles is going to help them taste good. It looks like the kitchen has been cleaned up from the cookie preparation mess, though.

Icing simply has to be easier.

Agnes, I hear that Cookie Monster is looking for you, and he’s really mad about something… ☺

It’s apparently National Cookie Exchange Day, so maybe there’s a chance to offload some of these on an unsuspecting neighbor. :)

It’s called caramelization.

I am going to allege “singular passion” for all my shortcomings from now on.

I now am convinced that Agnes carries the Don Quixote gene, and Trout is her (less servile) Sancho Panza.
