Hobbes is so used to being blamed for Calvin’s poor decisions. It doesn’t faze him in the slightest…….

Sure, Calvin. Go ahead and bet a hundred dollars – you’ve got nothing to lose!

If the groundhog saw its shadow, that would mean 6 more weeks of grounding for snowball related antics. Maybe that’s why they call it the groundhog?

Hobbes is gonna be one wealthy tiger when all is said and done. At least on paper.

Super trivia: It look like Hobbes is using an Apple Newton or a Palm device, not pencil and paper. Looks like an original Newton stylus, plus, what looks to be an antenna bump. He probably earned the money from other bets with Calvin.

Nothing like a cold, wet, icy snowball down the back of the neck!
