More like blue and purple states on the coasts and red states in the middle. The problem for team red is the population in the middle is decreasing as younger generations leave.
Even where I live (California) the coasts are the blue parts (mostly). The rest of the state is as red as Oklahoma (mostly)—but has far fewer people in it.
Hard to divide our nation like that. It’s pretty much the smart, educated parts are blue and the backwards poorly educated parts with lower life expectancy are red.
Quick history lesson, lest we forget…It reminds me of how blacks have stood solidly behind the Democrat Party, which is amazing to me as a student of history.
Didn’t President Abraham Lincoln establish the Republican Party to fight against slavery? Yes!
After the Civil War, didn’t Democrats establish the Ku Klux Klan to keep blacks from enjoying their newly won freedoms? Yes!
Didn’t Democrats fight against civil rights for blacks up until the middle of the 20th century? Yes!
Didn’t President Lyndon Johnson and many Southern Democrats fight against civil rights until they realized it was going to happen anyway? Yes!
Didn’t Johnson decide to pass welfare for blacks so they would always be beholden to Democrats and allowed to live on Democrat plantations? Yes!Lets all remember this next Nov. Throw the bums out.
Fine with me, you can keep your east coat fascists in florida and the elite criminals in NYC and your Carolina Confederates and the inept gridlock of DC and your gun worshipping Tennessee and Texas fascists and red state child poverty, the west is free.
Got it wrong, bub. My state is in the blue part of your map and it is most assuredly red. I do, however, fully agree with the concept of red secession.

I’ve thought about it and then I think about those who haven’t the resources to move to blue states… or red states if that is their desire.

President Biden supports red and blue states. Trump has intentionally worked to hurt blue states and brags about it.
