Nate would definitely never want to have a pet cat. And I certainly wouldn’t be allowed to take a lizard home because of… parents’ fear-based orders

8\10 I actually kinda like this gag, even if it’s totally unrealistic that no one’s got dogs XD

I like cats.

Father doesn’t want a dog.

Father says they smell,

And never sit when you say sit,

Or even when you yell.

And when you come home late at night

And there is ice and snow,

You have to go back out because

The dumb dog has to go.

And always let the strangers in

And bark at friends instead,

And do disgraceful things on rugs,

A lot of people I know have dogs. If Nate went to my school, he’d have a better result.
