Evil elf by the look of him in the first panel. Wonder what s/he/it was planning.

The elf on the shelf tried to escape but to no avail…

He sure looks mad in third panel.

Why would an elf be carrying scythes?

They look like they’ve stolen the hooks off other ornaments.

I feel like this is an inside joke that has left everyone on the outside.
