The ring will be lost in t he automatic dishwasher.

Remember,the guy washing the dishes is the only one in the s trip who’s even dumber than Rufus.

I would think the groom would be at least the 2nd to know.

Come to think of it, if they get married by a preacher, the bride, groom, and the preacher should all know before Slim or any other potential guest.

I like to think that Slim headed to the diner right after Joel and Rufus started their Santa gig, leaving them to find their own way back home.
