A full update for the 29th, as we anticipate turning the pages to 1973, 1949.. then eventually to 1968 and 1931 as well.

Skeezix regrets the luxury accommodations of a private cabin on the train to “Maple Ripples” (it finally came to me… Cedar Rapids, IA?). He and Corky both are missing out on a chance for some “adventure sleeping”.

Crazy Quilt may be free of the reservation, but there’s no decent hunting to be found on the suddenly shrinking frontier. Buttercup’s tummy is rumbling, too.

Took long enough, but it looks like the start of the Starr/Kelly showdown – scoop for scoop, story for story to a finish. (But when does Chekhov’s anteater figure into the plot?)

And Clovia leans on her sometime/somewhat boyfriend to take her and Mr. Spell back to his place. That takes some cheese, but Slim regularly gets rolled like a wheel of Gouda.

One thing can be said for Baleen—she must have a cast-iron gut to be able to watch him pig out without puking!!

She IS a Large Marge you might say!

There is less of her than Slim but she is still a hefty heifer.

No, that’s like the Rhino calling the elephant grey.

I think they forgot to kill that sandwich before they served it.

Baleen is on her feet running all day. Big difference, Slim.

Whoa Slim, that’s thin ice you’re skating on.

You’d think Slim might start eating healthier considering he’s an obese man in his 70’s. His poor heart must be on its last legs by now.
