not sure why I’m still following this strip, don’t like the way is presented, grandkids being mean or not helpful to grandma, it’s beyond me, no parents? they should be grateful
When our kids lived at home, they had each to keep their own room clean and do a chore: 4 kids. Every Sat evening they got their allowance. If their room wasn’t clean, we charged them a clean fee. If they didn’t do a chore, we charged them for us having to do it. The fee’s combined for each kid was more than their allowance so if they did nothing their were not only grounded, they owed us money. After about a month, they figured it out and all the rooms were clean and the chores done!

Kate, just tell them to clean their rooms to keep busy and then they’ll be able to watch tv and have their cell phones back.
