On a technical note, I’ve started using a nib instead of a brush to ink the comics, and I’m enjoying the result! It still gives the rich line width that I’m looking for, and I don’t have to dip the nib into the ink pot as often. (Which was the main impetus for the switch!) A brush still comes in handy for dramatic lettering, and soft edges such as with the smoke, but I think the nib is here to stay.

Take a photo is a good idea. Maybe a day this will be a great family memory (and a great trauma).
