The gas comes from Texas so he turned the stove on an hour ago to give it time to get there.
Looks like there is still some gas coming from that standpipe. Light another match and there is a good chance the house will catch up with the stove.
Fire departments everywhere recommend that that’s something you SHOULDN’T do.
