As he should be. Plants communicate on supersonic frequencies. If you talk to them, every plant in the neighborhood knows your secrets almost as soon as you finish your sentence.

I don’t talk to my plants, but I have been known to yell at my computer, as well as a few other inanimate objects.

I would think the only plant Jimbo would be afraid to talk to would be a spiderwort.
