It was the Municipal Tree in the Town Square. He brought it in through the loading dock. Having spent the equivalent of 10 years out there, he knew how big the bay doors are. The !ayor has offered a reward. This is why Ches has laid low today.
From yesterday’s comments – I’m glad to hear that most people who commented had a good Christmas (aside from zippykatz with tummy trouble – glad to hear you’re feeling better!).
We shared some family remembrances about Paul. One of my favorites was when Paul and Mark made a dummy. They used a building brick can for the body (I don’t know how many of you remember the American Bricks – like Lego’s, but they looked like bricks and they had doors and windows and things for building houses and they came in a big tall cardboard can – like Tinkertoys and Lincoln Logs used to come in). They used some of Daniel’s clothes to dress the dummy, stuffing the arms and legs with bath towels. They used a ball for the dummy’s head. I think they put a cap on the dummy. Then they set the dummy up in a corner of the bathroom. Then that night, when our dad had to get up to use the bathroom, he saw the dummy and thought it was Daniel sitting there. He yelled at the dummy to go to bed. I didn’t hear our dad yell at the dummy, but I think they did. My only regret is that we never took pictures of that dummy. I don’t remember whether or not our dad thought it was funny, but we kids all did. I don’t think our mom was amused.
Today’s strip is a repeat, but it’s still funny. Reminds me of when Mr, Bean tried to get a Christmas tree, but they were all sold out. So he took the big one from the town square. On another note, saw eleven varied thrushes and a wren while out walking today.

I’m wondering why nobody has commented that this strip is a repeat of yesterday’s.

I needed more than yesterday’s Ten Cats fix, and the random tab came up with March 16, 2015 strip of Woof talking to a flower. One of the cutest arcs!
