a sibling for Fred?

My dad used to say, “The problem with kittens is that they grow up to be cats.”

Fred, you are still heartwarmingly cute. You are no Axolotl, you had to grow up as we all do or did. Axolotls are cute too, but perhaps not as soft and funny as you are. We prefer you in the strip. Not a random Basset puppy.

No, Fred, the correct way to say that is “I resemble that remark!” And why aren’t they showing us the Basset puppies?

I’m with you Fred; pups are adorable … but then I recall the amount of damage they can do with those sharp little teeth and the amount of supervision they need and realize that I am much better off adopting adult dogs.

I think nearly all young mammals are adorable but it is when they get old that they need more care, I dog sat my sister’s dogs – a 10 year old Jack Russell and a Dachshund who’s 17 or 18 and he was a lot of work having to pick up after because he doesn’t realize when he needs to go and just goes. The Jack Russell was easy, goes right up the sliding door to get out and didn’t get in an accident at all.

Fred is plenty cute at his age.
