Indeed, Spud does have a kind heart . . . and a cold, wet left foot.

He never quite noticed that that one other shoe wasn’t white, and had places for really long toes.

I think Mr. Henry took his kids to the playground, and decided he just had to draw a springy seahorse in a strip!

Who but Wallace would notice Rose’s new mittens? What a guy.

I was hoping for a Spuderella story arc.

Spud’s mind is on higher things and can’t be bothered by the mundane like the whereabouts of both shoes. BTW, many a fisherman was proud of his ability to knit, especially when it came to their nets.

No debate about Spud’s great heart but really great call/observation by Wallace…..

Does anyone have a dry sock I could borrow?

We got about 6" of snow last night.

Spud knitted the mittens for Amelia, but one look (side eye) from her and they became the perfect present for Rose. The side eye blew the shoe into his pocket.

How did the shoe get into Spud’s pocket? The world may never know.

Boop boop shoe do! There’s a rhythm and beauty to WTB.

How did it get in there?

I want to hang out and knit with Spud.
