I used to live up north, but moved south for retirement, I miss ice skating, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, etc. I lived on a lake and all I had to do was walk out the door into winter fun. I may just move back.

Probably cheap skates and dull blades. And skating on a pond will dull your blades quite fast.
