This reminds me of a much earlier arc when Gretchen and Rover were little, and Clovia went on strike—refusing to cook for and clean up after her lazy slob of a husband, in addition to her job at the garage.

This looks like the bonehead approach practiced by Ricky Ricardo or Fred Flintstone when suddenly faced with household stuff they don’t normally do. Men !!!

Food under the sink, and cleaning supplies in the pantry. Gotcha, baby.

So the other day folks were worried that Clovia was going to pass away. I think Slim’s just going to pester her to death.

Did she put the soap in the pantry with her cupcakes? No, sorry, that was Mrs. Robinson. But, geeze, why are we stuck with the usual trope that the guy is clueless about household chores? They’ve been together for close to fifty years and he hasn’t done the laundry even once? And why would the detergent be in the pantry instead of near the washing machine? Sometimes Jimbo makes even less sense than Slim.
